Anthropo-Astrology
Anthropo-Astrology is a way of using Astrology as a guide in developing yourself as a Person (= capable of freely loving yourself, loving others and being loved), and as an Artist of your own Life and of the Life of the Universe, as defined in Antonio Mercurio’s Existential Personalistic Anthropology.
It combines the techniques of traditional Western Astrology, Esoteric/Evolutionary Astrology, the Sabian Symbols and the fundamentals of Human Design with the basic tenets of Existential Personalistic Anthropology, so you can:
- increase your perception of the incredible beauty and diversity of Life, so eloquently illustrated through the symbolism of Astrology;
- understand and feel the profound value and importance of the unique contribution that you are here to offer as a cell within the organism of the universe, a contribution that is sculpted by the fusion of your inherent qualities and both your “positive” (talents and gifts etc.) and “negative” (traumas and conditioning) experiences;
- express your contribution in ways that are in alignment with the direction that your own evolutionary process is heading in, thus increasing your general well-being;
- tune into the rhythms of the energies available to you at various times throughout your life cycle, so you can better harmonize your Self with these rhythms and thus “go with the flow” much more comfortably.
The greater awareness of yourself and of Life’s processes that this approach offers can increase your ability to develop a profound Love of Self and Love of Life, essential for becoming truly creative and joyful in your own personal life experience. It also allows you to become more aware of the equal value and importance of every other being within the various “wholes” of which we are all a part (couples, families, communities, nations, the Earth … all the way “up” to the Cosmos). This increases acceptance and appreciation of the amazing diversity inherent in Life, as well as an ever-growing ability to collaborate with others and with Life itself. Such an ability nurtures the evolution and well-being of everyone involved and, consequentially, of the Whole.

Anthropo-Astrology Readings
Readings can be done either in written form or over the phone (Skype is also an option).
Since every person has different individual needs and preferences, it is important to decide together how you want your reading to be carried out.
A basic reading, which is the first step, consists of a panorama of your natal chart. Your general characteristics are explored as well as the themes present at the time of the reading. The most significant transits that will be present in the months to come will also be looked at.
After you have had a basic reading done, you can also choose to have a reading done for a specific moment in time, or an annual reading, which is like a yearly “check-up” to see what will be the most important evolutionary themes for you in the year to come.
Synastries are also available, which involve two or more persons, such as couples, family groups, business teams or people who are collaborating in creative projects.
A Synastry can be very helpful when you are wanting to gain clarity on aspects of the interaction between people. Anthropo-Astrology can help understand where two or more people interact with relative harmony, and where instead they may encounter conflict and resistance. Where there is conflict, it can greatly help in understanding how to facilitate communication and how to develop more fulfilling interactions for all those involved.
A Synastry reading can also be of great help when wanting to gain insight about what the deeper purpose of a relationship is, whether it be a couple or a group. This is extremely useful, as it can help focus on what the “talents” are of each of the partners or group members, so as to better accomplish the project’s goals, whether the project be that of a couple or a business partnership or team.
You can also request readings for entities or projects, for example for your business or association, for weddings and for other types of specific group projects or events.
